The University Sound UW30 underwater speaker is an economical moving-coil underwater speaker manufactured by Electrovoice, a division of Bosch Security and Safety Systems. The UW30 provides a remarkably uniform (+/- 4 dB) response between 80 Hz-1300 Hz, with a TVR of 125 dB ref 1 uPa/V at 1m. The UW30 is suitable for activities including: synchronized swimming in small home pools, marine biology amnd environmental impact studies in aquariums and tanks, and relaxation during Watsu (aquatic massage) and flotation tank sessions. The UW30 is not recommended for lap swimming in home or commercial pools, or for synchronized swimming in Olympic pools, as the sound levels produced by this technology are not adequate for these activities.
